Fortunately there are brilliant minds like that of Alejandro Agag who manage to create projects that combine useful and enjoyable. From his ideas came the Formula E and Extreme E. This latter is a project that places highly competitive electric Suvs that compete in car races in emblematic places for the consequences of climate change.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dfd_spacer screen_wide_spacer_size="50" screen_normal_resolution="1024" screen_tablet_resolution="800" screen_mobile_resolution="480"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dfd_heading subtitle="" delimiter_settings="delimiter_style:solid|delimiter_width:80|delimiter_height:1" undefined="" title_font_options="tag:h2" subtitle_font_options="tag:div" tutorials=""]

To compete with each other are electric Suvs equal for all teams in the race. The reasons for this competition and the places where the races take place are exceptional. The Extreme E is the first sport created to raise awareness and combat the climate crisis. The goal of the series is to use electric car racing to highlight remote environments at risk for climate change. The incentive must be to encourage all of us to take positive action to protect the future of our planet.
This kind of initiative might seem a contradiction since 30% of the planet’s CO2 emissions come from transport, and the protagonists of these races are cars that run around the world. In fact Extreme E exists to show the performance that electric vehicles have. To achieve this goal you use the powerful mix of exciting sports action, scientific training and storytelling.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dfd_spacer screen_wide_spacer_size="50" screen_normal_resolution="1024" screen_tablet_resolution="800" screen_mobile_resolution="480"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dfd_heading subtitle="" delimiter_settings="delimiter_style:solid|delimiter_width:80|delimiter_height:1" undefined="" title_font_options="tag:h2" subtitle_font_options="tag:div" tutorials=""]

"Greenland is an incredible place and I’m happy to host the country’s first motorsport event. The team that worked behind the scenes to make this happen, in the remote Arctic, was exceptional. - said Alejandro Agag, founder and CEO of Extreme E - We want to highlight the situation on the island of the Arctic Sea and address issues such as ice melting and sea level rise. I think we’re at a turning point in the climate crisis".
These are the reasons that led Extreme E to land Greenland. The Arctic Sea region hosted for the first time an automobile race. Within the race weekend there will be time to have fun watching the formidable electric Suvs and raise awareness. The track on which it ran was in fact previously a glacier which then melted and disappeared.[/vc_column_text][dfd_spacer screen_wide_spacer_size="50" screen_normal_resolution="1024" screen_tablet_resolution="800" screen_mobile_resolution="480"][dfd_heading subtitle="" delimiter_settings="delimiter_style:solid|delimiter_width:80|delimiter_height:1" undefined="" title_font_options="tag:h2" subtitle_font_options="tag:div" tutorials=""]
[/dfd_heading][dfd_spacer screen_wide_spacer_size="15" screen_normal_resolution="1024" screen_tablet_resolution="800" screen_mobile_resolution="480"][vc_column_text]The Extreme E project seeks to combine fun and duty in one place. Exploring with high-speed vehicles and eco-friendly breathtaking places enhances the beauty and importance that are not lost. Before Greenland, in order to raise awareness about rising seas, the 9 teams had challenged at Alula in Saudi Arabia. Here it was important to bring to light the problem of desertification. There had been the opportunity to run in the Amazon to reflect on the weakness of our lung, but in the end we flew to Sardinia to sharpen the attention on the problems that climate change bring to the islands.
This type of project has the sole purpose of putting us in front of the evidence that it is possible to do something for our planet and that we must be the first to move in this direction. In daily life there are only many choices, even small, useful and necessary that we can adopt.
